It’s like saying good~bye to your own children, but not knowing if you will ever see them again. Six wonderful Elders and one awesome sister ~ Such a good time with them the last night. Lots of great help fixing a nice dinner before testimonies and bed. Love you ~ hope to see you all again someday.

Mom and Sister so happy to see Sister Blanchard. Sweet Reunion. Missionaries saying goodbye to Missionaries. A beautiful sight.
It was so draining to say good-bye to those wonderful missionaries, but then first thing the next morning the new ones come. We love them all~ they are full of the Spirit and ready to go teach the people in Brisbane Australia!
WE LOVE OUR MISSIONARIES. THEY KNOW HOW TO HELP AND THEY KNOW WHAT THEY NEED. The bikes have their name on them and in the bag hanging from the bars, are their helmets and locks. In the big green bags are their bedding, pillow, sheets, blanket, and mattress cover.
Our favorite pictures from home in the past 2 weeks:
We took a walk around our block, and wow what a view. And walking to the front of the house was a new adventure too. We are always coming through the garage on the side of the home. When we take the time we are so grateful for the beauty that surrounds us.

MAGIC tricks by Elder Butterfield, had us all wondering ~ “how did he do that” . A good lesson on Our Savior’s Atoning Sacrifice for us. How he makes everything OK if we let Him. Not Magic, he really can fix our broken selves.

Ask him to show you sometime!
Back to beautiful Cairns! We actually put on our casual clothes and no badges and went for a walk along the beach. It was beautiful. President still got a phone call here and there that we would stop for him to answer. He loved talking to the young fishermen and who answered our questions so well.
Enjoying Cairns @ Palm Cove
After that it was back to WORK! What wonderful Saints and a wonderful District Conference we had with Elder and Sister Hamilton, and the District Presidency and many other wonderful friends and members. President McSwain and President Hauser did like 45 temple recommends between the two in-between meetings.

We were back on a plane and home to have Sister Paulo’s farewell dinner and send off. She bore a strong testimony of her Savior and of her mission here. She will be missed. She was a powerful missionary.
August 31- Sept. 2, 2016 Senior Conference. It was wonderful. Association with the best! We had great training, wonderful testimonies, getting to know you better, and talent galore, the food wasn’t bad either. Overall, a great conference!
Temple 1st on Agenda, then a photo.
A beautiful song by young Missionaries.
Our wonderful guests who came and trained us so well. President and Sister Cowan our Temple President. Elder Callahan talked to us about Health. Boyce’s gave great ideas on helping the young missionaries, and the VanDongen’s talked about helping in the Branches or Wards. A Stake President ~ President Shine helped us with technology. And Elder Kieth Walker trained on yoking Stakes with Missionary work.
