We feel like we have been here forever and yet its hard to believe 3 months have gone by so quickly. See if you can figure that one out! We can definitely see the Lord’s work hastening. We are so grateful to be apart of it. To be among missionaries everyday and immersed in this work is amazing. We see miracles everyday. ( if you hold your cursor over the pictures – who is in them will come up.)
This is a few from this past week. They text them to us:
“We followed up with a potential named Sharnie. As we went over the Restoration with her – we invited her, if she came to know these things were true, to be baptized on the 29th of October. She accepted and even admitted she was looking for a church to join. Be mindful you never know who is looking.”
“After an amazing lesson with one of our investigators, Jashon, about the ten commandments and truth, Elder Hausa asked if Jashon believed everything we taught him. He said yes. We then extended the invitation to be baptized on the 29th of October . He said yes! Atherton beasts for prowling for some more prey.”
“Redcliffe Miracle! Elder Condie after expressing his lack of desire to GQ, we get out of the car and on his very first GQ the lady immediately bursts out crying, she opens up to us, tells her life story. We teach her and she is keen to be baptized this weekend! But we had to at least make it a couple weeks to prepare her ~ 22 October!”
Miracle in Karawatha! Today we saw a woman in the park so we decided to talk to her. She has just moved to Australia and is having some problems. She said she was feeling so alone, and she said she prayed for someone to talk to, and she recognizes us as the answer to her prayer. We taught her the restoration, and she accepted the invitation to be baptized on October 30! God hears and answers His children’s prayers. Karawatha Sisters.
New Adventures every week. Lots of Cultures to experience. Many wonderful people!
The first picture was the fabulous – all day, Sister’s Conference. We had some amazing trainings by our STL’s ~ and a wonderful quest speaker ~ Sister Salanoa. Sister McSwain shared some BEE facts and encouraged all to work like a hive, organized, united, and doing our part. Sister Richins told us about her wonderful Grandmother~ Sister Camilla Kimball. She truly was and still is a model for LDS Women. Thank you Sister Richins for sharing. We were served a delicious dinner by the Priesthood. The night was finished by a wonderful talk and encouragement from President McSwain.
